Founded in 1970, Risca Male Choir is renowned for its diverse performances and trend setting programmes.

Recent successes include third place at the 2023 International Eisteddfod, and winners of the ‘Best Male Choir’ category in the 2024 National Eisteddfod. Also in 2024, the choir raised over £20,000 in a fundraising concert for the Motor Neurone Disease charity and, remarkably, has just raised a similar amount for our chosen charity for 2025, Prostate Cymru. Plans are already in place for a further charity fundraising concert for 2026.

Our programme for the Usk Choral Festival is likely to include a selection of classical Welsh male choir pieces as well as gospel and contemporary music.
