FESTIVAL TEAM

Meet the Team

Events like this would not be possible without a lot of hard work.

These are the people behind the organisation of Usk Choral Festival.

A small band of dedicated volunteers, turning the seed of an idea into a full blown festival!

UCF Debs Hancock

Debs Hancock

Debs Hancock lives in Usk and has a passion for singing both as a jazz singer and choral music. She is delighted to be involved with The Usk Choral Festival, which brings so much music and involves so many singers, right here to the heart of Usk.

UCF Bobby Woodcock

Bobby currently sings with two community choirs and enjoys a wide range of music. She believes the festival is a brilliant way for people to come together and simply enjoy making and listening to music. She hopes with her wide range of training and organisational skills to make a positive contribution to both the festival and the team.

Chris Williams 2

Chris Williams

Chris has sung for much of his life, from being a church chorister through to singing and performing
at school. In recent years he has been a member of mixed choirs in Cardiff and Cwmbran. He enjoys the friendship and fun of being a choir member and believes the Usk choral festival is a wonderful opportunity for choirs of many genres to demonstrate the variety of choral options available in the locality.

Jan Williams

Jane Williams

Brought up in Newport, with many orchestral and choral opportunities at school, Jane has recently moved back to the area. She has always enjoyed the privilege of listening to live performances and hopes to encourage others to share the joy created by our choirs and, you never know, might even have a sing.
